Dorothy at The Forge in Joliet IL 4-23-25

Dorothy was back at The Forge in Joliet Illinois for a sold out show on a Wednesday night! Luckily it was a beautiful spring day, because the line wrapped around the building! The local opener got canceled so it was just Cory Marks and Dorothy! Cory Marks has also played at The Forge before! I got there super early and caught some of his sound check! They played "Somebody" by Bryan Adams! Sounded great by the way! It stuck out to me because it's one of my personal favorite Bryan Adams songs and I've actually never heard a band play it before! Cory's band put on a great show and got the crowd ready for Dorothy!

I always try to see my friend Sam Bam Kolton (Dorothy's guitarist) when he comes through town! Glad I got to catch him again with Dorothy! Dorothy is an absolute powerhouse on vocals! She also has some killer songs in her catalog! Something tells me this might be the last time she's playing at venues this small! Definitely a show not to be missed!
