Fozzy back at The Forge in Joliet Illinois for a night full of metal music! Starting off the night with a band called The Nocturnal Affair! I have actually seen them before, so was fun to catch them and all their hair flinging again! I particularly loved their metal cover of "What Is Love"! Next up was a band of youngins called Liliac! I've been wanting to see them for a while actually and had never gotten the chance to! They were honestly awesome! The singers voice was killer and they had a great stage presence! Of course the reason everyone was there, Fozzy! First off, I have seen them before and knew what a fun high energy show I was in for! That being said, most shows I cover at The Forge I find my 20mm lens just a bit too wide, not for these guys! I knew it was the lens to go with, and I was definitely correct! A particular moment I was waiting for is when the two guitarists mess with each other, for lack of a better word! Loved getting all the up close interactions with the fans and myself! Also I would like to take a moment to appreciate all of Chris Jericho's fabulous outfits! Loved all the sparkles and Judis Jacket! As anyone who has seen them before will tell you, everyone always love when the smoke gun comes out! Definitely a high energy metal show not to be missed!
